on four core concepts: “Energy In” (nutrition), “Energy
Out” (physical activity), Teamwork and Goal-Setting.
ReCharge! emphasizes valuable
life skills, which lead to improved academic performance
and self-esteem. ReCharge! gets
kids up and moving while they learn about eating healthy
food, staying active, setting
goals and working as a team to reach them. With its focus
on fun, team-based after-school activities, family outreach
and healthy after-school snacks, ReCharge! provides
benefits that can reach throughout and beyond the school
community.
